Summer Camp Nurse

Camp Nurse – Seeking registered nurse who is highly motivated and organized. Responsibilities include: managing and responding to all aspects of campers health needs, medication administration, communication with parents and camp staff, and usage of camp database. Candidates must be a registered nurse, currently licensed to practice in DC. Interested candidates, contact Elizabeth Mayer at mayere@sidwell.edu for more details regarding this position. Positions for High-School Aged Applicants (Aged 16 and Older)

Tennis Counselor – Seeking flexible, motivated, and energetic camp counselor to work in a fun, exciting camp environment. Counselor will assist coaches with campers Grades K-8. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, daily camp set up and breakdown, running drills and scrimmages, camper supervision and engagement throughout the camp day both on and off the field, assisting coaches in daily camp operations and activities, and fostering our Sidwell Summer community. Applicant should have an interest in working with campers and experience playing tennis.  Experience working with children in a camp, school or other setting preferred.  Interested candidates, contact Whitney Ennis at ennisw@sidwell.edu for more details regarding this position. Positions for College Aged Applicants

Junior Explorer Teacher –Seeking flexible, motivated, and energetic teachers to work in a fun, exciting camp environment. Junior Explorer teachers will lead a group of campers ages 3 – Grade 1 (groups divided by age) in an active and enriching camp setting. Experience working with early childhood aged children in school or other setting required. Interested candidates, contact Miss. Explorer Day Camp teachers will lead a homebase and teach 4 workshops for campers in Grades 2-5 in an active and enriching camp setting. Workshop options are listed below. Tennis Coach – Seeking flexible, motivated, and energetic coach to work in a fun, exciting camp environment. Coach will lead a group of campers grades 2nd – 12th (groups divided by age and ability) in an active and enriching camp setting. Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to, creating engaging and creative age-appropriate warm ups, camper skill development, overseeing matches as appropriate and helping to instill a love and respect of the game.  Coaches will also be responsible for overseeing assigned counselors. Early Risers Staff – Seeking flexible, motivated, and energetic individual to work in Extended Day before camp program. Staff will assist with daily activities – arts & crafts, games and more!
