Positions for Individuals Ages 16+:

Counselor – Seeking flexible, motivated, and energetic camp counselors to work in a fun, exciting camp environment. Counselors will assist teachers/coaches with management of campers in an active and enriching camp setting. Applicants should have interest in assisting teachers/coaches with daily activities, engaging campers throughout the camp day, and working in a hands-on, fun environment. One of the most important responsibilities of a Counselor is promoting group bonding, a memorable experience for all campers, and the building of positive and caring relationships among campers and staff. Experience working with children in a camp, school or other setting preferred, not required.

Positions for Individuals Ages 21+:

Office Admin and Operations – Seeking individuals who are ready and will to assist with the logistics of all Sidwell Summer programming and operations. This will include office duties, carpool, communication with campers and families, and additional tasks needed to keep the programs running smoothly.

  • Nurse – Responsible for the medical care and supervision of @ 100+ campers/week; medication administration, administering basic first aid, and record keeping.  Applicants must be mobile, organized, timely, and professional. Good communication skills are required as ongoing communication with campers, staff, and families is key. Must have current MD Nursing license and CPR/First Aid Certification. Experience working with children in a camp, school or other setting preferred.

    Various weeks between June 17– August 9, 8:15 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday- Friday

Teacher/Coach –Seeking flexible, motivated, and energetic adults to work as a teacher/coach in a fun, exciting camp environment. Teacher/Coach will lead a group of campers in an active and enriching camp setting. Applicants should have interest in leading daily activities, engaging campers throughout the camp day, and working in a hands-on, fun environment. Experience working with children in a camp, school or other setting required.
