Discovery Day Camp (Grades 2-5)
1 week sessions 9:00am - 3:00pm Price: $530-$645
Have a child wants to do a variety of activities this summer?! Discovery Day Camp is the place for them! Creating, moving, playing and laughing is all in a days work! Campers will have the choice to participate in a variety of workshops to have the camp day of their dreams! Campers will be supervised by a workshop teacher and counselor that are ready to engage and have fun!
Campers will choose activities based on their own interests- this will allow campers to create relationships with their peers and feel more comfortable to try new activities! Activity offerings will be varied with a multitude of activities, ranging from Creative Arts, Sports & Fitness, Dance, Science, Cooking, Acting and Improv and MORE! All activities will be hands on, interactive, enriching, and screen free!
Discovery Day Camp is a great place to build confidence, social skills and independence in a safe, support and fun environment.

Art W Miss Sarah- Unleash your creativity in this hands-on, colorful workshop where art knows no limits! Art w Miss Sarah invites campers to explore various artistic techniques and materials, from painting and drawing to collage and sculpture. Experiment with textures, colors, and designs as you create unique masterpieces. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or trying something new, this workshop is all about self-expression and having fun with art. Let your imagination run wild and see where creativity takes you!
Baking Sweets & Eats- Get ready to put on your aprons and roll up your sleeves! In this fun and hands-on Baking: Sweets & Treats workshop, kids will learn the basics of baking while making delicious treats to enjoy and share. From cookies and cupcakes to fun, frosty delights, we'll explore simple recipes that are easy to follow and full of yummy flavor! This workshop is perfect for kids who love to get creative, learn new skills, and of course—taste their own delicious creations! Whether you're a beginner baker or have some experience, this workshop will be a fun, interactive way to explore the sweet side of cooking.
Board Games – In the board games workshop, campers will dive into a world of classic and modern games that challenge their strategic thinking, teamwork, and creativity! Each session features a selection of games, from beloved classics like checkers, UNO, and Connect Four to team-oriented games and puzzles. Campers will have the chance to explore new games, develop strategies, and enjoy friendly competition with their peers.
Cooking- Welcome all chefs in training! This hands-on cooking workshop teaches basic culinary skills, food safety, and creativity in the kitchen. Each session introduces campers to new recipes and techniques- from measuring and chopping to sauteing and baking- all while creating delicious kid-friendly dishes. Campers will explore a range of flavors, learn about the importance of nutrition, and try out recipes from different cuisines around the world.
Curtain Call – In the Curtain Call workshop, campers will step into the spotlight as they explore the world of theatre! Through improvisation games, acting exercises, and storytelling, campers will develop confidence, voice projection, and body language skills. Each session offers an opportunity for campers to experiment with characters, learn basic stage direction, and practice their creativity. By the end of the program, they will showcase their hard work in a short performance or scene for their fellow campers.
Creative Writing- In creative writing workshops, campers will explore the joy of storytelling and self-expression through writing. Each session provides fun prompts and engaging activities to spark their imagination, guiding them in crafting short stories, poems, personal narratives, and even plays. Campers will learn basic storytelling techniques, like building characters, setting scenes, and developing plotlines, all while sharing and celebrating each other's unique voices.
Egg Drop Engineers- Get ready to design, build, and test like a real engineer! In the Egg Drop Workshop, campers will take on the ultimate STEM challenge- creating a contraption that keeps a raw egg safe during a dramatic drop. Using creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, participants will explore the exciting world of physics, engineering, and design thinking.
Improv – Dive into the world of improvisational theatre! This high-energy workshop is designed to boost creativity, teamwork, and confidence, with fun games and exercises that emphasize thinking on your feet and working with others. Campers will explore classic improv skills like active listening, spontaneity, and continue to build on each other's ideas and create hilarious scenes in the moment.
Jewelry Making - In the Jewelry Making workshop, campers will explore the art of crafting their own wearable creations! Campers will learn the basics of jewelry design, from selecting materials and arranging color patterns to creating one-of-a-kind pieces such as beaded bracelets, necklaces and keychains. They'll get hands-on experience with a variety of tools and materials, including colorful beads, wires, charms, and clasps.
Lawn Adventures – In Lawn Adventures, campers will dive into a variety of engaging outdoor games, nature activities, and playful challenges. Each day will bring new adventures on the lawn, from obstacle courses and treasure hunts to classic games like capture the flag and nature- themed scavenger hunts. Campers will also explore mini-lessons on outdoor exploration, learning to identify plants, insects, and other elements of the natural world around them.
Lego Builders –In the Lego Builders workshop, campers will unleash their creativity and engineering skills as they explore endless possibilities with legos! Each session will introduce fun challenges like building bridges, creating structures to withstand weight, or designing cities and vehicles. Campers will work on both individual and group projects, encouraging teamwork and sharing ideas to achieve their construction goals.
Magic Tips & Tricks- Step into the world of wonder and illusion! In this Magic Tricks & Tips Workshop, campers will unlock the secrets behind amazing magic tricks and learn how to perform them with confidence and flair. It’s a day with mystery, creativity, and showmanship- perfect for curious minds and budding magicians.
Minute to Win It – Fast-paced and high energy, it's minute to win it! Inspired by the popular game show, this workshop challenges campers with a series of quick, 60-second games that test creativity, teamwork, and agility. From stacking cups and balancing items to tossing and catching, each activity is designed to keep everyone engaged and laughing. Campers will compete individually, and in teams, working together to develop strategies, encourage one another, and enjoy friendly competition.
Nature Builders- Get ready to design, build, and create with nature! Campers will explore the outdoors to collect natural materials like sticks, leaves, rock, and pinecones, then use their creativity to build shelters, sculptures, and structures inspired by the world around them. This hands-on workshop encourages teamwork, imagination, and an appreciation for the beauty and balance of nature.
No Bake Desserts: Whip up some sweet fun without turning on the oven! In the No-Bake Discovery Workshop campers will explore delicious and creative treats that are easy to make, colorful, and most importantly, fun to eat. This hands-on experience combines kitchen creativity, teamwork, and tasty experimentation.
Obstacle Courses– Get ready to climb, crawl, jump, and balance your way through adventure! In this fast-paced workshop, campers will design, build, and test their very own obstacle courses using everyday materials. Working together, we’ll explore creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving while staying active and having fun. Who can complete the course the fastest or with the most style?
Relay Races: Get ready to run, laugh, and work together! In the Relay Races workshop, campers will experience the excitement of team-based races while developing speed, coordination, and teamwork skills. From classic baton relays to fun obstacle course variations, this workshop is all about movement, strategy, and cheering each other on.
Riddles & Logic- Get ready to think outside the box! In the Riddles and Logic Workshop, campers will stretch their minds with clever puzzles, brain teasers, and logic challenges. Through teamwork, problem-solving, and creative thinking, participants will learn that every riddle has a solution if you know how to look at it.
Sewing & Handcrafts- Get creative with fabric, thread, and imagination! In this hands-on workshop, campers will learn the basics of sewing and handcrafting while making fun, personalized projects. From simple stitches to small creations like pouches, pillows, or keychains, this workshop encourages patience, focus, and creativity- perfect for makers of all skill levels.
Skit Writing- Lights, laughter, and creativity take center stage in the Skit Writing Workshop. Campers will learn how to turn their ideas into short, funny, or dramatic performances through the art of skit writing. From brainstorming characters to writing dialogue and performing, participants will experience the full process of bringing a story to life on stage.
Slime Lab- In the Slime Lab workshop, campers become scientists, experimenting with different recipes and ingredients to create colorful, textured, and stretchy slime! Each session introduces a new type of slime from classic stretchy, to fluffy, glittery, and even glow in the dark slime. Campers will learn about the science of polymers, mixing ingredients, and the chemical reactions that turn liquids into gooey, tactile fun.
Soccer- Get ready to lace up your cleats and hit the field in the Soccer Workshop! Designed for players of all skill levels, this workshop focuses on developing fundamental soccer techniques like dribbling, passing, shooting, and teamwork. Through fun drills, small-sided games, and exciting challenges, campers will improve their skills while staying active and building confidence. Whether you’re a beginner or a budding soccer star, this workshop is all about enjoying the game and having a blast with friends!
Songwriting- Unleash your inner musician in our Songwriting Workshop! Campers will explore the art of creating original songs by learning about melody, lyrics, rhythm, and storytelling. Through fun and interactive exercises, participants will discover how to express their ideas and emotions through music. Whether working solo or collaborating in small groups, campers will have the opportunity to craft their own tunes and share them with their peers. Perfect for budding songwriters and music enthusiasts, this workshop inspires creativity and builds confidence through the power of music!
String Art- Get creative with color, pattern, and design in this hands-on String Art Discovery Workshop! Campers will explore the art of creating images and geometric design using nails, wood, and vibrant string or thread. It’s a perfect blend of art, math, and imagination- no experience required!
Tablegames – In the Table Games workshop, campers will gather around the table to enjoy a variety of engaging games that encourage strategic thinking, hand-eye coordination, and social skills. From quick reflex games like Jenga and air hockey to strategy-based favorites like foosball and shuffleboard, each session introduces campers to exciting new games that test their skills and keep the fun rolling!
Tennis Skills & Drills - In the Tennis Skills and Drills workshop, campers will learn the fundamentals of tennis through fun, engaging drills and friendly matches. With a focus on developing essential skills like proper grip, footwork, forehand and backhand strokes, and serves, each session is designed to build confidence on the court. Campers will participate in various skill-based games and activities to reinforce technique and improve agility and hand-eye coordination.
Trivia Time- Get ready to put your knowledge to the test in this fast-paced, fun-filled workshop! "Trivia Time" is all about challenging your brain with questions across a variety of exciting topics, including pop culture, history, science, sports, and more. Whether you’re a trivia whiz or just love learning new things, this workshop is perfect for you. Work together in teams or compete individually to see who can claim the title of Trivia Champion. It's all about having fun, thinking fast, and enjoying friendly competition!
Waterplay– Get ready to make a splash in Waterplay, where campers will enjoy hands-on water-based activities that beat the summer heat! This workshop includes a mix of exciting games and creative water challenges, from water balloon tosses and sponge relays to sprinkler runs and mini-pool activities. Designed to combine physical activity with cool-down fun, each session introduces new ways to enjoy water through teamwork and friendly competition.
Yarn & Weaving: Dive into the colorful world of yarn and weaving! In this hands-on workshop, campers will explore the art of creating patterns and textures using yarn. From simple weaving techniques to imaginative projects, participants will discover the joys of making beautiful, handmade creations while developing focus, creativity, and find motor skills.
Yoga & Mindfulness- In the Yoga and Mindfulness workshop, campers will explore fun and engaging ways to develop balance, flexibility, and relaxation through yoga poses and mindfulness exercises. Each session includes a mix of age-appropriate yoga movements, breathing techniques, and simple meditation practices designed to help campers connect with their bodies and minds. Campers will also engage in reflective activities, such as gratitude journaling or guided visualization, to promote a sense of calm and focus.
