Sponsorship Program (Grades K-12)
Since its establishment in 2002, the Sidwell Summer Sponsorship Program has helped campers join our community of enriching, fun, and educational summer activities. The Sidwell Summer Sponsorship Program helps diverse groups of campers build confidence and self-esteem, develop leadership abilities, and contribute their unique talents to our Sidwell Summer community.

If you would like to register for additional sessions outside of the weeks you are applying for sponsorship, you may register for those sessions by using the Register Now button. Please see “Registration Information” below to learn more.
Dates & Fees
The Sponsorship program is a separate application and will open in February 2024. Sponsorship is limited, therefore we encourage families to apply for sponsorship as soon as it becomes available.
There is a $25 application fee for each child applying for sponsorship that must be paid by credit card upon submission of the application. The application fee is non-refundable and is separate from any fees owed as part of the sponsorship award.
Sponsorship will not be awarded to sessions previously registered for and cannot be combined with any other discounts.
Registration Information
The Sponsorship Application must be completed online. Most campers will be awarded sponsorship for one or two sessions. Families that can pay 75% or more of the total program fees may qualify for additional sessions, but will need to specify their desire for additional sessions in the “additional information” section of the Sponsorship Application. If there are multiple programs/weeks that you are interested in, please indicate your choices in order of preference at the time of registration. Due to an overwhelming number of sponsorship requests for certain programs, please indicate at least two programs of interest. Sponsorship is not available for all programs - it is available only for the programs listed below and on the online application.
Please make sure to enter an accurate Email address when completing the Sponsorship Application. Sponsorship will not be awarded to sessions previously registered for and cannot be combined with any other discounts.
*Campers must be at least a rising Kindergarten student for the upcoming school year to be eligible for Sponsorship.

If you would like your child to attend other programming (i.e. programming not listed above), you should register using the Register Now button at the top of the page and you would be responsible for paying the fees in full.
What To Do If You Receive Sponsorship
You will receive an email with information regarding your sponsorship application. If you received sponsorship and choose to accept it, please read the email completely, review the award weeks and fees, and follow all instructions. Take note of deadlines and payment amounts. All fees for summer programs must be received by the due date indicated with your award in order to remain enrolled in Sidwell Summer, no exceptions permitted. All sponsorship awards, programs and weeks are final and cannot be changed. Changing programs or weeks for which you were awarded will result in a loss of the sponsorship award.
