LEGO® (Grades K-5)
1 week sessions 9:00am - 12:00pm; 1:00pm - 4:00pm $315
Sidwell Summer is excited to offer Play-Well TEKnologies workshops as part of our summer offerings. Kids are already naturally gifted creators. Then they get added inspiration from specially trained instructors. They dive into our massive collections of LEGO®. And while they build elaborate objects, structures and vehicles, they explore fundamental principles of engineering and physics. They also learn to collaborate and create without fear of mistakes. The experience is joyful, the impact long-lasting.
Play-Well strives to build problem-solving skills, to provide an opportunity for creative expression, and to foster a greater appreciation of how things work. In the context of fun-filled engineering and architectural projects, Play-Well encourages inquisitiveness, self-reliance, and self-confidence in our campers! Our summer ‘engineers’ will have access to over 100,000 pieces of LEGO®!
