Discovery Day Camp (Grades 2-5)
1 week sessions 9:00am - 3:00pm Price: $420-$600
Have a child wants to do a variety of activities this summer?! Discovery Day Camp is the place for them! Creating, moving, playing and laughing is all in a days work! Campers will participate in a variety of activities to have the camp day of their dreams! Campers will be supervised by a teacher and counselor that are ready to engage and have fun!
Campers will participate in hands on activities with their age appropriate homebase - this will allow campers to create relationships with their peers and feel more comfortable to try new activities! Activity offerings will be varied with a multitude of activities, ranging from Creative Arts, Sports & Fitness, Dance, Science, Cooking, Acting and Improv and MORE! All activities will be hands on, interactive, enriching, and screen free!
Discovery Day Camp is a great place to build confidence, social skills and independence in a safe, support and fun environment.

Workshop Examples
*This is a list of some of the activities your camper may enjoy - not all will occur each session and others may be added!
Acting & Improv– Learn the basics of acting including stage cues, script creating, script reading, prop/set design while incorporating a variety of actions, inactions, thoughts, and movements!
Adventures in Science – Dive into the amazing world of science! Get messy, build, create, problem solve, and have fun while learning about the wonderful world of science.
Art Explorations- Engage in a variety of art activities through the use of different mediums.
Board Game Mania – Campers learn the importance of strategy as they play a variety of games working on deductive reasoning and teamwork. Maybe even create their own!
Cartooning – create your own cartoon people, animals, superheroes, or more! Campers will learn to identify facial expressions and body shapes in cartoon form to bring their imagination to life.
Crafty Corner – Explore color and design through the world of crafting! Camper imaginations run wild as they build, glue, weave and more.
Music & Movement - Join in for movement and fun as we dance, stomp and shake our bodies. Watch how music supports our overall well-being and allows our minds to release stresses, open up our creative processes and make us feel good.
Minute to Win It - Use your excitement and all the materials you can gather to tackle the 60 second brain-busters and challenges that will test your wit, creativity, and flexibility.
Mission of the Mind- Puzzles, trivia, brain teasers and more! Campers search the corners of their minds as they engage in a variety of activities aimed at problem solving and critical thinking.
Sports & Games – Learn how to play a variety of different sports and camp games while focusing on teamwork and fair play and having fun. Games may include kickball, 4 square, ultimate frisbee, and noodle tag!
Waterplay – Enjoy the summer sun while playing in, and on inflatable water slides, slip-n-slides, sprinklers, mini pools, sand boxes, buckets, and more.
Yoga & Mindfulness – Through yoga, journal and other mindful activities, campers will have the opportunity to increase their awareness of their body, mind, and the world around them.
